Lise is an experienced nurse from Norway. Next to her bachelor of nursing degree, she is also trained in emergency medicine as an EMT and has several years of experience working in the ambulance service in Oslo.
As a nurse, her background stretches from working with cancer patients in Hospice care to fighting Ebola during the epidemic in Sierra Leone. She has also participated in different volunteer projects in Kenya and Tanzania helping HIV positive orphans, fighting the cause of female genital mutilation and supporting micro business startups for women.
During the recent years she has stayed busy studying crisis management, international conflict and peace development, next to health and sickness in Africa studies.
She’s fluent in English and German.
