Melissa Nobile is a Psychologist and Clinical Operations Manager at The Kusnacht Practice located in Geneva who is devoted to helping individuals change their lives for the better. She has worked as a psychologist in a wide variety of psychiatric settings. A Swiss native, Melissa attended the University of Geneva and completed part of her studies at the University of California in Los Angeles. She pursued her training in clinical settings in the USA, Thailand, and Europe.
Passionate about her field of work, Melissa has cared for patients with co-occurring addiction and psychiatric conditions across the entire spectrum of treatment settings; including inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization programmes. Melissa is also actively engaged in The Kusnacht Practice’s Youth Program, both as a clinician and as a Project Manager.
Melissa is a confessed “student for life”, always curious and eager to learn more about the practice of psychology and psychotherapy. She has trained in different intervention modalities such as psychodrama and sensorimotor methods. Melissa is proficient in incorporating these methods into her work to be able to facilitate the healing of her clients. She is also always interested in further understanding the brain’s development and its connection to addiction and mental health. Melissa is also consistent in staying up to date with the most recent scientific findings.
