Treatment for eating disorders
a healthy relationship with food
We adopt an approach that is discreet, non-judgemental and confidential. Our priority is to identify and treat the underlying causes of eating disorders in order to help to clients lead a healthy life. To reach this goal, we look beyond the mere symptoms to treat the whole person: mind, body and soul.
We perform psychological and other assessments to establish the root cause of any issues, which may be related to genetic, social, emotional or childhood factors. Eating disorders are also likely to have taken a huge toll on the body. We therefore use comprehensive laboratory testing to identify any physical, biochemical or neurochemical imbalances. We find that individuals are less likely to recover until their neurochemistry is functioning correctly.
We adopt four major pillars of treatment. These are psychotherapy, Biomolecular Restoration, complementary treatments, and spiritual counselling.
Clients are treated individually, never in groups. Our clinical team (comprising doctors, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, counsellors and nutritionists) and our complementary team (including yoga instructors, acupuncturists, masseurs and personal trainers) can therefore fully concentrate on your specific requirements.
Upon arrival, clients will be admitted to one of our partner hospitals for a full medical examination. You will then move to one of our luxury private residences with Swiss 5-star service, where you will have your own live-in counsellor who is available exclusively to you on a 24/7 basis.
We provide the very best care and comfort. Our fees are typically between CHF 80,000 – CHF 120,000 per week, depending on the requirements of the individual. Fees are settled directly by the client (we do not work with insurance companies) and we can supply written quotations upon request.
The Kusnacht Practice services are not covered by Swiss health insurances. All costs are to be covered by the clients directly. Patients who are domiciled in Switzerland and are therefore mandatorily health insured may be reimbursed by their health insurance for medical services in accordance with the Federal Law on Health Insurance (KVG) and its implementing provisions.
