Elena Kusnezowa is a senior medical doctor with a specialization in psychiatry and psychotherapy, providing clients with expert guidance, safety, and clarity in addressing complex mental health challenges.
She joined the Kusnacht Practice in August 2021, bringing extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment from various departments of the Psychiatric University Hospital of Zurich, where she has worked since 2011.
During her medical studies at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in Russia and at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen in Germany, she developed a strong interest in the work of C.G. Jung and Stanislav Grof and later trained in Jungian psychotherapy and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy.
She continues her professional development with a clinical focus on trauma and neurodiversity allowing her to meet clients with sensitivity in their individual emotional and cognitive experiences.
She speaks fluent German, English, and Russian.
